The M12 Sidewinder is an essential piece of gear for every airsoft player's kit. With the quick spin of a crank, almost any M4 mid-cap magazine can be fully loaded in under 5 seconds. The compact size of the M12 Sidewinder perfectly fits inside any double M4 mag pouch to easily be carried into the field. The capacity of this speed loader allows you to load twelve mid caps before needing to refill. Designed by an airsoft player for the players, the M12 Sidewinder is the last speed loader you'll ever need.
Keep Your Speedloader With You at All Times
If you are like most airsoft players, you dread the time consuming, tedious task of loading your mid caps while preparing for a game. You probably plan on loading your magazines in the staging area. You may keep a thumb loader on you. Maybe its on your vest or in your pack but it will only load most of one magazine before you have to refill it. The M12 Sidewinder was created out of the thinking that if most speedloaders were more practical, then they could be used in game. We took a different approach in how we created our product. Not only did we take the time to alleviate some of the flaws in other loaders, we also focused on airsoft play itself. We wanted to make sure the experience our users received was an end-to-end positive experience, not just another thumb cramping one. We want to give our users the motivation to keep playing and have more time for what they love!
High Capacity
The current M12 Sidewinder prototype can hold up to 1600 rounds. The production speedloader is to be determined. Sliding door for easy refilling.
Compact
The compact size allows the M12 Sidewinder to be used anywhere you'd use a traditional speedloader. It fits perfectly inside any double M4 mag pouch to easily be carried into the field.
Fast
Spin the crank as fast as you want. Each revolution loads 12 BB's and a clutch kicks in when full so you can never overfill a magazine.

If the speed loader only partially loads a magazine and the clutch engages, then the clutch is set to light/loose. On the crank arm there is a 10mm nut. You will need a 10mm wrench. While the speed loader has BBs in it and the magazine is attached turn the nut clockwise no more than an 1/8th of turn and try loading the magazine. Typically this is sufficient enough to load the magazine, however if it does not still completely load the magazine only turn a small increment more clockwise, my recommendation is 1/16th or less of a turn. And try loading again. Only do this incrementally each time after the first 1/8th of a turn. If the crank handle is actually becomes hard to turn and any grinding feel occurs and the clutch seems not to have engaged at all, stop immediately. The nut is too tight and you will need to loosen it incrementally until it cranks smoothly.
If the nut is overtighten, the clutch will not engage at all. There is also a possibility that the compression washer will be damaged which is immediately under the clutch nut. Another issue that will occur if it is overtightened, the clutch cannot engage and if you were to keep on cranking on the arm the arm could break and the paddle wheel on the inside will shred and will no longer feed BBs.
